Next generation, low COT DPS solution doubles multi-site capability for mixed signal applications
Verigy offers a new low cost DPS solution designed to meet the increasing DPS challenges of multi-site SOC test. The Multi-Site DPS module offers twice the number of DPS channels, which opens the door to more multi-site testing of complex SOC devices. The new eight channel per module DPS doubles the maximum number of power supply channels available in the testhead from 16 to 32 for small testheads and from 32 to 64 for large testheads. In addition, the new DPS module offers both voltage and current measurement at very high speed.
The Multi-Site DPS provides high measurement throughput for mixed signal applications to help drive down COT. In addition, the Verigy solution provides extremely precise low current test and a greater mixed signal dynamic range, which improves test accuracy. The low noise floor inherent in the Verigy V93000 tester is further enhanced with the exceptional low noise performance of the Multi-Site DPS module, which improves low battery test performance and increases test speed.
Together, these capabilities address the increasing challenges of accurately and quickly testing complex mixed-signal devices and drive down the cost of test by enabling significantly higher test throughput.
