Technical Notes
Total Harmonic Distortion is one of the major frequency domain parameters for verifying dynamic linearity characteristics of devices like Analog to Digital Converter Digital to Analog Converter, Amplifier and so on. Part 1 introduced the basic measurement characteristics of Digitizer and Sampler. With the attenuated measurement method described in Part 2, these measurement conditions enable Sampler to measure correct harmonic distortion. 200 KB
Test Methodologies
Signal integrity of high-speed digital signals could be degraded by the frequency characteristics of the signal path on the DUT board. So the DUT board must be carefully designed to have enough analog bandwidth along with using excellent board materials. If we knew the characteristics of the signal path, we could compensate the deterioration with using DSP technique. It is known as equalization. This month’s theme is equalization to a waveform data by DSP. 667 KB
