Q: Why did you choose Verigy?

A: It offered a great opportunity for growth and development in the 93K R&D group, with coaching and guidance from my manager.

A: The people in Verigy are domain-focused and skilled at what they do.

Q: What do you find the most rewarding about your job?

A: I appreciate the opportunity to be owner of a project, and the fact that my achievements are recognized. The culture values people, providing flexibility in how I do my job. Both shareholders and employees participate in the company's profitability with company and individual performance bonuses.

Q: How would you describe your career path to reach your current position?

A: It took the right development plan to identify the best fit for my capabilities. Personal ability and motivation provided critical elements needed to reach the goal. Finally, supportive management worked to support me through each step in the process.

Q: What is most challenging about your job?

A: Influencing and managing stakeholder expectations and cross-function collaboration are always challenging.

Q: What is unique about your role? How is it different from other places you’ve worked?

A: I've been the "owner" of the project, which is different than it's been in other companies, and am involved in the development of the product. Dealing with outsourced business management is another unique feature of this role.

Q: How do you balance work/life issues?

A: I work intensely during normal working hours and days, and also take two to three real vacations to enjoy life with family.
