Q: How would you describe yourself, and what motivates and energizes you in your professional life?
A: I'm an analytical self-starter. I like to follow projects to completion, and enjoy communicating one on one with fellow employees and customers. I also enjoy hands on work with our 93000 systems.
 
Q: Why did you choose Verigy?
A: To continue using my expertise in RF products. I enjoy account management and interfacing directly with our customers.
 
Q: How do you think the people at Verigy differ from other places you’ve worked?
A: My Verigy colleagues are team players and are very focused.
 
Q: What do you love about your job or what do you find the most rewarding?
A: Because of the excellent management personnel, I am able to be self directed in how I carry out my day to day assignments and manage my accounts as if they were my own business. I am grateful for the recognition Verigy management gives to its employees who excel in their job.
 
Q: How would you describe the corporate culture? Open and willing to listen. What do you like most about it?
A: The freedom to communicate and introduce new ideas.
 
Q: How would you describe your career path to reach your current position?
A: I've been able to follow what I enjoy doing. In HP days I worked for various manufacturing divisions both on the production floor and in the lab. I progressed from the calibration operations within these divisions to joining the ranks of the Customer Engineers to Senior CE and Team Lead. I traveled to various customer sites to help and manage accounts while working with other Customer Engineers. My role now is to ensure that the San Diego customer base is well taken care of. I always FUN in the process.
 
Q: What is most challenging about your job?
A: Effectively managing one of Verigy's largest accounts and contributing to Verigy and the customer's success. Remaining calm during stressful deadlines and times of heavy workloads and coordinating the correct resources when needed.
 
Q: What cool projects have you worked on?
A: Introducing a state of the art paging system for all USA CE's in the late 90's. Currently helping to improve the ease of use of calibration for the AE's and Test Engineers at with the PSRF systems on site.
 
Q: What is unique about your role? How is it different from other places you’ve worked?
A: My job allows me to be self-sufficient, to manage my own time and schedule my workload to fit the needs of my customers. I have the privilege to be able to make major decisions and contributions on my own to benefit both Verigy and my customers.
 
Q: What are your goals at Verigy - what are you working to achieve?
A: For the last two years, after transferring from Phoenix to San Diego, I have been managing and organizing large accounts from the ground up, with the goal of having these become some of the very best managed accounts within Verigy.
 
Q: What’s been your biggest surprise about working at Verigy?
A: The openness of upper management to listen and to recognize the needs and accomplishments of its employees. Being selected as a Verigy Star Club member for 2007 was a pleasant surprise - what a great honor that was.
 
Q: How do you balance work/life issues?
A: These last two years have been the most challenging with regards to work / life balance during all my years of employment. I try to manage my free time with my family and friends.
