Q: How would you describe yourself, and what motivates and energizes you in your professional life?
A: I greatly dislike (OK… maybe even 'hate') trying to describe myself. I think that task is best left to my family, friends and colleagues. Having said that; I'm a bit of a perfectionist who really enjoys: relating to people, cutting edge high technology and solving difficult problems. My professional life is currently a great mix of those things.

Q: Why did you choose Verigy?
A: Verigy is the "Best in Test". The best technology and the best people. It was an easy choice.

Q: How do you think the people at Verigy differ from other places you’ve worked?
A: Two words - Positive thinking.

Q: What do you love about your job or what do you find the most rewarding?
A: I enjoy working with the latest 'cutting edge' technology. I’ve been involved in quite a few new product roll-outs. I have to say that they can be very challenging and at the same time very rewarding.

Q: How would you describe the corporate culture? What do you like most about it?
A: Virtually no "micro management". I have a lot of flexibility in how I carry out my job tasks.

Q: What cool projects have you worked on?
A: Beta roll-out of many new state-of-the-art products including Port-Scale RF.

Q: What is unique about your role? How is it different from other places you've worked?
A: I work on a team that is scattered across the country. We rarely see each other in person. However, I have to say that we work very well together. I believe that our team works a more closely together than most teams at other companies that are in the same office location.

Q: How do you balance work/life issues?
A: I work in a home office environment. For me, the commute time that I save (and fuel costs) more than makes up for the longer hours that I often work. Also, some of the tasks that I do are not contingent on the time of day that they are done. So, sometimes I can take some time during the day for something personal and then complete my work later at a more convenient time.
