Q: How would you describe yourself, and what motivates and energizes you in your professional life?

A: I work hard and play hard. I may spend long hours on the tester but I then catch up with my preferred activities outside of work, like surfing, and may end up being the last one in the waves, after sunset. I like to make a positive impact, whether at work or at home or around the world, while respecting everyone else’s space and right to do the same. I am very dedicated and tenacious.

I do my best to be a team player, which is essential in this complex business, where you cannot really succeed if you are a lone ranger.

I strongly believe in integrity and honesty, at work and outside of work.
What drives me professionally is the ability to tangibly contribute to the Company interest and then being recognized for my efforts. That goes back to being able to make a positive impact: Verigy is really consistent at not overlooking employees’ achievements.

A: Product reliability and acceptance in the marketplace.

A: They are more people than just co-workers.

A: Working on bleeding edge technology products and job flexibility.

A: Employees are not just numbers in a file to review on a yearly basis.

A: Covering an extremely wide range of applications while maintaining the highest customer satisfaction.

Q: What cool projects have you worked on?

A: Test time reduction benchmark for a high volume, highly integrated SiP for a large customer; high throughput C++ library development for several SiP’s.

Q: What is unique about your role? How is it different from other places you’ve worked?

A: I am consistently given the opportunity to make a difference to Verigy and to my customer.

Q: What are your goals at Verigy – what are you working to achieve?

A: Create the conditions to make an even bigger, positive impact on the Company business.

Q: How do you balance work/life issues?

A: I keep them separated and, when the situation allows, I give myself a break, like after an intense project, to adequately and fairly catch up with life!
