At our China Academy employees participate in an intensive and specialized twelve month training program to develop semi-conductor test engineers for excellent careers within Verigy and beyond. You will participate in classroom training as well as experience practical on the job training.

China Academy Employees
  • Completed masters program
  • Able to work full time as required during program
  • Receive medical, vacation, holiday, and social benefits
China Interns
  • Part-time position
  • Bachelors or higher
  • Receive AD&D insurance


Students in Germany can participate in one of our many technical and non-technical student programs. We have programs for those recently enrolled at University to those in Masters programs.

"Berufsakademie" (BA) Student Program
  • Academic 3 year program in cooperation with "Berufsakademie" (University of Cooperation Education)
  • 3 months at University and 3 months at Verigy - alternating
  • Engineers (Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology)
  • Diploma of German secondary school qualifying for university admission
  • Receive full benefits
Apprenticeship Program
  • 2.5 year program
  • Experience a combination of classroom theory and practical knowledge. Part time spent at professional school and part time at Verigy on a rotating basis.
  • Administrative, Finance, Order Fulfillment positions
  • Requires secondary school level 1 certification
  • Receive full benefits
Internship Programs
  • 3 to 6 month assignments (standard internship or diploma/master/bachelor thesis programs)
  • Able to work full time as required during internship
  • Focused on R&D projects
  • Matriculated students

Working Students Program
  • 6 to 12 month program
  • Working on hourly basis

In Singapore students are able to participate in a 6-months industrial attachment program. They are given opportunities to experience life in the Sales & Support Team.

Requirements:
  • Undergraduates who have completed three years of campus study in local universities
  • Engineering discipline

  • May potentially be a full time employee after graduation


In the United States interns work on a variety of projects and with a variety of groups, in both technical and non-technical positions.

US Interns
  • 3.0 GPA
  • Good standing at your university
  • Completed sophomore year (60 + hours)
  • BS, MS, or PhD (we hire at all levels)
  • At least one semester or quarter remaining
  • Able to work full time as required during internship
